Christmas at the Lake

The Saturday after Christmas, we went over to Great Grandma Deems and Ralph's house. Grandpa Schmidt, Debbie, Nan, and Alan all joined

On Sunday, Uncle Matt and Aunt Amber came over to Nan and Grand-dad Alan's to celebrate Christmas.

Christmas at the Byrne's

After we opened presents at our house on Christmas morning, we headed over to Grandma and Grandpa Byrne's house for more holiday fun. We all (Jason, Aiden, Blake, Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle Adam, and Me) opened gifts first and then had breakfast!

After opening all the gifts, Aiden and Blake took a mid morning nap- too much excitement for one morning.

Christmas Morning

It was our first Christmas as a family of four. We had a great morning. Of course the boys didn't understand the concept of Santa and his eight tiny reindeer, but they did like to rip the paper off the presents and crinkle it in their hands (or stick it in their mouths!!).

Here they are just waking up...

Blake
Aiden (not quite awake yet) Jason had started a fire and we had Christmas music playing on the radio

This is what it looked like after we had opened the gifts- what a mess!

Meeting Santa

Last weekend our neighbors, Jim and Barb, had a Christmas open house where Santa comes every year to visit. So the boys got to meet Santa for the first time. They did really well and no tears were shed. Here are some pictures of their visit with Santa.

Here is a picture with Jim and Barb's son, John, Aiden and Blake. John was born 10 days before the boys and they all stayed together for a short time in the special care nursery.

Thanksgiving 2008

Well, it was our first Thanksgiving as a family of four. Good thing Aiden and Blake still only eat cereal and formula, I can't wait to see what next year brings! This year we started at my Aunt Donna's and Uncle Gary's house for dinner #1 with Nan, Grand dad Alan, Kat and Dan. Then we went to Grandma and Grandpa Byrne's for dinner #2.

What a studly crew!
