Labor Day Weekend

Jason, the boys and I went to the Lake for Labor Day Weekend. The boys did great on the car ride down and back, only getting fussy the last 15-20 minutes of the ride as it was getting close to eating.

Here we are checking out the lake for the first time. Next year, the boys will have a whole new understanding of what it means to go to the "lake"

Jersey also enjoyed her time at the lake as she always does. She went for a swim everyday and even began jumping off the dock.

Many family and friends got together to see the boys this weekend. It was great to see everyone.

We went over to Great-grandma Deems on Saturday to spend time with the Schmidt Family.

Months 3 and 4

The boys are now spending more time awake, but of course, sleep is still very important. We have both graduated to using big boy bottles (the 8 oz bottles).

Stats for 4 months:

Blake: 12lbs 4ozs and 23 1/2 inches

Aiden: 9lbs 13ozs and 23 1/2 inches

We got the boys all dressed up to go to Columbia for Jackson's Birthday Party. They had a really great time.

The First 2 Months

At this point the boys are mostly sleeping, but wake up for short periods of time to check out their world and play a little.

The boys had their first bath of many... Blake doesn't mind it so much, however, Aiden does not enjoy being cold and crys through the entire bath.

The Journey Begins

July 4th had a whole new meaning this year...we got to bring Blake home!

We always new it was a possibility that one of the boys would come home before the other, and this proved to be the case. Both boys were simply working on learning how to feed from a bottle and Blake simply caught on sooner than his older brother.

The first night proved to not be overly difficult, but man we were tired. You can even see the exhaustion in Jersey...she was up throughout the night right along with us!

The good news is that Aiden wasn't far behind. He came home the following Monday on July 7th, and that was when the fun reallyk began...two at one time, are you serious!

The good news is that night one with both boys went well, but once again we were exhausted.
